Family Room provides resources to families who foster, at no cost.
No Location Restrictions
Although Family Room is based in Greensboro, NC, we welcome families that foster from any location.
Many foster support programs require case worker referrals in order to offer support to families. By removing this requirement, we are able to act much faster.
No Referral Needed
Children in Foster Care experience great loss in an instant.
Most children arrive at homes with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
Families that foster do not get upfront financial support to provide the kids what they need when they first come into care.
Families can foster anywhere between 1-5 children at a time, creating unforeseen financial circumstances.
Family Room is a space where children in care often come without anything. We are a space that not only gives them things they need, but also a space to learn and know that they are loved, valued, and important.
We provide families that foster and the children in their care with resources they need, such as: beds, clothes, toys, strollers, cribs, blankets, etc.
Resources are always provided at no cost to families that foster.
Family Room is a safe, loving environment where children can feel comfortable and accepted.
